A mural should not just fill a space; it should beguile the viewer, demanding a pause.  Artefino artist Jimmi Lou Stack specializes in large-scale paintings and diverse subject matter.  Her mural work can simply be an aesthetic expression, or it can be a painting to capture a given spirit or mood rolling through time ~ a zeitgeist indicator for the surroundings.  Lou encourages her clients to consider free hanging murals that allow for the option of relocation.

But the benefits of artistically done fine finishes are exponential, as they become the backdrop for art pieces, furnishings, fabrics and special relics.  Sometimes bold, frequently subtle, consistently a powerful enhancement to the stage set.

As the business evolved and faux finishing became only one of many decorative finishing options offered, it was decided Artefino was a more appropriate name...especially as the company's emphasis on mural work solidified.
